The Student World Impact Film Festival (SWIFF) is an annual film festival founded by Mark Leschinsky.[1] Regarded as one of the world's largest platform for broadcasting student films, it was one of the recipients of the Diana Award.[2]
History
[edit]The Student World Impact Film Festival was established in 2020, to encourage student filmmakers.[3] In March 2022, it was certified as a 501(c)(3) organization and has made entries from 149 countries.[4]
Activity
[edit]The festival typically runs for about a week, during which a wide variety of films are screened.[5] It partners with Amazon Prime Video for student's film distribution.[6]
