Sugam Enge (தமிழ்: சுகம் எங்கே!, English:Where is Happiness) is a 1954 Tamil Romantic Drama film was directed by K. Ramnoth and produced by Modern Theatres. The film script were written by A. K. Velan and Kannadasan. Music by Viswanathan-Ramamoorthy duo assets to the movie. The film starring K. R. Ramasamy Savitri P. S. Veerappa S. V. Subbaiah K. A. Thangavelu and T. K. Ramachandran lead with R. Balasubramaniam T. P. Muthulakshmi, Chandra Babu played portraying supporting role.[1][2][3] ]. There was a political misunderstanig between Kannadhasan and Karunanidhi and so the competition saw a new battleground .Both films were based on an Folklore and were produced at the same time..Sugam engae was not based on Ammayappan, but a popular folk tale
