The Summit International Awards grants awards for excellence in creativity and effectiveness of advertising and communication content and was founded in 1994[1][2].

The Summit Awards employs international panels of unpaid judges to evaluate submissions. An award winner can earn a bronze, silver, gold or best of show award[3].

The organization conducts three annual competitions. Creative award - Judges creativity in companies under $30 million in capitalized billings.[4][better source needed] Marketing Effectiveness award - Judges results from advertising and marketing. Emerging Media award - Recognizes Judges emerging technologies, websites and interactive media.

The award is open to companies from all countries[5][6][7].
