Suptakoṇāsana
Appearance
Supta Konasana is an Asana. It is translated as Reclined Angle Pose from Sanskrit.
The name of this pose comes from "supta" meaning "reclined", "kona" meaning "angle", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".[1][2][3][4]
Benefits and Cautions
Supta Konasana has many benefits: it promotes blood flow to the internal organs, opens up the inner thigh muscles and stretches the back of the neck and upper back.
Be careful while doing this pose if you have high blood pressure, neck or spinal injuries, as well as hip or hamstring injuries.[1][2][3][4]
