Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri is current MLA from Charminar (Assembly constituency),[2]from AIMIM. Quadri was the trusted mentor and close friend of late Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi. Ahmed pasha quadri won from charminar in 2004 and was able to retain it in 2009 and 2014 assembly elections. Quadri is General secretary of AIMIM. He received 62,491 votes (57.6%) in 2014 by defeating TDP candidate with a huge margin.
