Szymonka [ʂɨˈmɔnka] (German: Schimonken; 1938-45: Schmidtsdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ryn, within Giżycko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) south-east of Ryn, 18 km (11 mi) south-west of Giżycko, and 77 km (48 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
