Restoration of Jan. 14 2022 edit[edit]

Hello - I just manually reverted the page to my January 14, 2022 revision. I'm the first to admit that this edition of the page isn't perfect (the summary is way too long, for one). However, I think it's more neutral and better-sourced than the January 24, 2022 revision.

Please feel free to trim down the summary or improve the page with citations to reliable sources. However, please don't delete reliably sourced information. IP user 68.70.7.22, I appreciate your passion for Pontic Greek history, but you deleted all criticism of the book to replace it with completely positive reviews. That's the main reason I reverted the "Reception" section.

I reverted the "Summary" section because of the editorializing language used ("poignant mother/daughter pilgrimage", "weaves a seamless texture of individual memory that evokes all the suspense and drama of the best told tales" etc - stuff you'd see on the back of a book, not in a neutral article).

Thanks for reading. -Kravk (talk) 00:20, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
