In Burmese wikipedia[edit]

This Burmese term "ကသည်းဘာသာစကား" is specifically dedicated to refer to the Meitei language. Even in Burmese wikipedia, the article for Meitei language is named my:ကသည်းဘာသာစကား. It is transliterated as "kathe bharsarhcakarr" meaning "Kathe language" (Meitei language). "Kathe" is a Burmese term for "Meitei". However, Google Translate wrongly translates it as Thai language instead of Meitei language. --Haoreima (talk) 16:09, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The Burmese term for "Thai language" is ထိုင်းဘာသာစကား. It's also used in Burmese wikipedia article my:ထိုင်းဘာသာစကား, transliterated as "htine bharsarhcakarr". If this term is entered in Google Translate, it translates as "Thai language" correctly, contrary to the previous term "ကသည်းဘာသာစကား". Haoreima (talk) 16:13, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
