Air National Guard in 1946

The article says the 126th Group was allotted to the Illinois Air National Guard in 1946. There was no Air National Guard until the United States Air Force became independent. It was allotted to the Illinois (Army) National Guard. --Lineagegeek (talk) 21:05, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
