Sorry, but there is no such thing as a British/American Army Group, or a US Army Group for that matter. The Army Groups established by the Allied Expeditionary Force were entirely international in allegience, and were assigned their commanders to achieve political gain. Army Groups consisted only of a Headquarters and Headquarters Company, and nothing more. Their only reason for existance was to Command, Control and Administer the units assigned to its geographic area. Army Groups have no permanent existance, and they have not been maintained on the Active or Inactive rolls. They have all been Disbanded, and will NOT be reestablished unless another World War is declared. Frankly, they all should be moved to the new headings of Allied Army Groups; First Allied Army Group, etc.

So we have here, all serving in the same unit, Americans, Brits, Brazilians, Poles, Greeks, Indians, Canadians, Anzacs and South Africans? Who have I missed? Drutt (talk) 07:56, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Italian Royalist Army

Wasn't the Italian Liberation Corps and other units of the Italian Co-belligerent Army also part of the 15th Army Group?
