Is this the unit which used to be called "The Boys from Syracuse?" Jim Davis 19:18, 27 June 2008

The bulk of this page was copied directly from [1]. At the bottom is: "©New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs (DMNA)" Is the DMNA a Federal organization or a state-level one? If state-level this might not be in the public domain. Bryan Derksen (talk) 00:34, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!

"Gained" ??

[edit]

At the beginning of this article is: "If activated to federal service, the Wing is gained by the United States Air Force Air Combat Command. "

What exactly does the verb "gained" mean in this context? This sounds like a military jargon term. I don't have a problem with that as long as there is a link to the definition in this context. Otherwise, please reword to make clear. Vincent Ree (talk) 14:08, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
