Overview
[edit]I know that I haven't got any paperwork to back this up but in 1970 I had my interview for a job with the Post Office in 19 Newhall Street. When I worked in Telephone House I used to spend lunch breaks in the union office in the basement. I remember it as a quiet building since the only equipment was on the top floor which was the teleprinter switch for the internal telegraph system. I'm not sure whether there was any offices in use in the seventies. G1cbk (talk) 20:23, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
