Merge?!

I think the idea that this article should be merged with 2009 is completely against consensus. The new Recent years guideline is intended to get things that are important to a region but not the world off the 2009 page and onto pages like this one.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Ken g6 (talk • contribs) Jan 29, 2009
