GA review (see here for criteria)

Rather disapointing in light of previous works. But still see below this for what we can do

  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
I would advise that on the logo that in the description on the logo template that you explicitly state that Nascar own it.
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

Main issues

The reason why it is an exhibition is not explained in the backround section. Also how are they selected.

Don't know where I could find a source, but it is one because no points were awarded. --Nascar1996 (talkcontribs) 03:59, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The use of restricted engines is not in the background section but is in a section someway below

A standard list of tracks (seems to be your trade mark) you know what to do

Bob Hadley, of Westside Baptist Church in Daytona Beach, Florida, said invocation, and Amber Heard gave the command for drivers to start their engines.[15] Maybe better to state that it was a pray instead of using cleaver language and state that Heard is an actress.

Bowyer remained the leader for the next four laps with assistance from Earnhardt. How was he of assistance. This goes for other occassions as well where you have written this phrase

Would you like me to link assistance to Drafting (aerodynamics) since that is what the assistance was? --Nascar1996 (talkcontribs) 03:59, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

speed of 206 mph. can we have a conversion to kilometers in brackets please

Maybe spilt the race into different paragraphs and give a run down of positions at the interval. Sicne you make a big thing of it earlier and harldy any here

Too many sentences begin with On lap... or Also. Also does not start a sentence. Or At the lap is really strange. And so it at lap

What do you want me to do here? --Nascar1996 (talkcontribs) 03:59, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

So to recap. why is this an exho. explain how drivers are picked and rules and limited engines. Just seems to lack an edge for some reason. KnowIG (talk) 17:28, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The original reviewer was indef-blocked, so I am taking over. I will post my comments shortly. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 02:49, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the issues I found:

Article will be re-put on hold for a week, and once all these issues are fixed I'll pass the article. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:43, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I believe I have completed all of them. --Nascar1996 (talkcontribs) 04:11, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Everything checks out now, so I'll pass the article as a GA. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 04:38, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
