What on earth do these rule texts mean?
These 24 skaters are determined by the samalog standings after the three skated distances, and comparing these lists as follows.
1. Skaters among the top 24 on both lists are qualified.
As far as I know "samalog standing" means all distances/races are summed up, so there should effectively be one list, not "both lists". Samalog article supports this point of view. (All points are added up; the lower the score the better.)
But if this indeed means two lists are used, please explain how those are generated from three races. 85.217.44.150 (talk) 02:51, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
