Contested deletion

[edit]

I find this speedy deletion nomination ridiculous. It's a disambiguation page that's meant to differentiate between the two years in Kenyan football, and it's there because a large majority of countries around the world have their football seasons run across two years (e.g. 2014–15 in English football as opposed to 2014 in American soccer and 2015 in American soccer). Other disambiguation pages of this kind for Kenyan football exist (e.g. 2013–14 in Kenyan football, 2014–15 in Kenyan football) so I don't understand why this particular article has been picked out. Why would you have a disambiguation page when there is only a single page to disambiguate from? A dab page according to Wikipedia:Disambiguation states "Disambiguation in Wikipedia is the process of resolving the conflicts that arise when a single term is ambiguous—when it refers to more than one topic covered by Wikipedia." Right now, there is only one. Seems to me if and when the other page is created, that is the time to create the disambiguation page. Onel5969 (talk) 23:25, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
