Size

[edit]

I see most mass media reports are stating a size of about 10 meters. Please verify dimentions. Thanks, BatteryIncluded (talk) 16:26, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Since the asteroid is now known to be much further away than initially estimated, the same brightness results in a much larger object. -- Kheider (talk) 17:19, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Lets go with the decription by JPL at: RECENT CLOSE APPROACHES TO EARTH Cheers, BatteryIncluded (talk) 17:56, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Asteroid "2015 YB" is NOT listed at http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/ca/ because it did NOT make a close approach to Earth. I think you are looking at 2015 YR! -- Kheider (talk) 17:58, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You are correct. My mistake. My sincere apologies. Cheers, BatteryIncluded (talk) 18:01, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Revision August 2017

MP-object article 2015 YU9 has been revised as of August 2017. There are still some issues with missing/not found data in cited sources. Rfassbind – talk 13:14, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
