Voter turnout missing

Most of the pages for state-level data on the 2016 US Presidential election include a voter turnout %. This is missing for Mississippi. Indeed, when searching Google for this information, I was unable to find it. I did however, find 2015 Census data for the total voter population of the state here: https://www.census.gov/library/visualizations/2016/comm/citizen_voting_age_population/cb16-tps18_mississippi.html

This would imply that, since 1,211,088 people cast votes in the general election among a total of 2,220,616 citizens over the age of 18, that there was a voter turnout somewhere close to 54.54%. However, this may not be accurate because in many states convicted felons are not eligible to vote, and there might be other exemptions I am not aware of. Also the state population has presumably changed somewhat from 2015 to 2016. I am posting this comment partly to ask if this is an accurate enough turnout to post on the page, and if not, to call attention to an important piece of information (for those who are trying to construct statistical analyses of the data for predicting future results) that is missing in the hopes that someone else with better resources may be able to supply it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.121.83.116 (talk) 16:27, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
