I am afraid to say that despite the efforts of the nominator in expanding this article, this GA review will have to be quick failed due to numerous failures to comply with the relevant criteria at Wikipedia:GA. In this case of this particular article, I noted several problems which stand in its way of achieving GA status at this time.

The primary issue is that the entry is under-referenced, with several entire paragraphs lacking a single reference. Some of the prose in the article is messy, non-neutral, informal, inconsistent with MOS guidelines, such as using the # symbol, which is not allowed per MOS:HASH. Many of the sources are inappropriately formatted in that some lack the dates they were published, the date of when they were accessed by the contributor, the work/publisher fields, and the author(s). There is also no mention at all about what occurred during the three practice sessions that took place before the qualifying session on the Saturday evening, such as who was fastest in their respective classes and whether there were any incidents that caused disruption to the relevant sessions.

I strongly suggest that these issues be resolved before the article can be nominated at GAN for a second time. MWright96 (talk) 08:42, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
