[edit]Anaxagoras13 What is your logic? Because in the current ranking I do not see her. We must look at the last stage before the departure, and not dig into previous matches. Maybe we’ll put down the places following the results of qualification for Euro?
Ukraine is the only team that won 2 sets in the quarter-finals, for example, comparable to Italy, which for some reason was higher: Italy lost in the quarter-finals of France in 3 sets of France, which lost Serbia in the semifinals in 5 sets. Ukraine lost to the finalists from Serbia in 5 sets in the semifinals and became the first team in the European Championship which succeeded and the team which Ukraine lost in five sets won and the team that Italy lost in 3 sets, that is, there is no logic, so that Italy, which didn't win a single set in the quarter-final and loses the worst team in the championship compared to Serbia, is higher in the standings than Ukraine, which won 2 sets in the semi-final, the team became the champion. In the same way, Russia lost to Slovenia in a 4-set match, and Slovenia lost to the Serbs. Compared to her, Ukraine lost to Serbia in a 5 set match and the team that won against it - Serbia - won the Slovenia in the final. Therefore, I find no reason for the Russian Federation to be higher than Ukraine in the standings, unless there were matches for 5-8th place, about which there is nothing in the article.--Yasnodark (talk) 14:03, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not for inventing own rules, wikipedia follows official sources, so do not invent your own final rankings.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 14:05, 30 September 2019 (UTC)

- Anaxagoras13 Is there a competition regulation according to which this is done? Because the current arrangement of the teams does not lend itself to any logic, if there were no matches for 5-8th place, were they definitely not?
After all Ukraine became the only team that won 2 sets in the quarter-finals, and it lost not to the losers, but to the champions from Serbia. At the same time, Germany Italy did not win a single set in the semi-finals, and they lost with such a crushing score to the teams, which they then lost in the semi-final, the Russian Federation won only one set in the quarter-final and lost to the finalist, that is, also to the team that lost to Serbia . And Ukraine won against Serbia, that is, the champions already 2 sets, while the other 3 losers in the quarter finals could not take 2 sets, even from future losers. So why should these teams, who have shown no resistance to the losers, be higher than Ukraine, which fought future champions?
quarter-finals:
- Serbia 3–2 Ukraine 105–104 → 2 sets, -1 ball → Ukraine 5 place
- Slovenia 3–1 Russia 96–91 → 1 set, -5 balls → Russia 6 place
- Poland 3–0 Germany 75–58 → 0 sets, - 17 balls → Germany 7 place
- France 3–0 Italy 77–55 → 0 sets, - 22 balls → Italy 8 place . There is a logic in such an arrangement: first we consider the won sets in the quarter-finals, and in the case of equality - the won balls.
If you think that the regulation is different - give a link. --Yasnodark (talk) 14:26, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
- Once again, wikipedia does NOT make rules by ourselfes! We just reflect what official sources say! And the CEV published a final ranking on their homepage: Final Ranking, so we have to follow that and do not invent our own ruling. And by the way a ranking just because of a single game is unlogical.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 14:41, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
Anaxagoras13 But on what that rating should have been based, I didn`t invent anything - I was guided by logic and a Ukrainian source. Where are the competition`s rules that would explain your logic? I see your link to the competition website, but I don’t see an explanation for this.

За підсумками змагань вона посіла п’яте місце (in tranlation - fifth place).--Yasnodark (talk) 14:57, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
