My edit on April 25.

[edit]

First off, I made this edit with good intentions. I noticed that the individual pitcher records were bold on the last UCLA softball season page that was completed (2019). The breaks between the pitcher's name and record are there so that the stadium information can fit on 2 lines, not 3. I also thought it looked good when I saw it on the 2022 Texas Longhorns softball team page. And I found the attendance numbers from the game notes that are posted on uclabruins.com. Hopefully if anyone reverts them that they could at least possibly tell me why so that I can understand too. Thank you. 23.119.246.58 (talk) 21:22, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@23.119.246.58: Hi GoWarriors151718 thought you retired? We don't change edits to what you feel "looks better." Just like on MLB articles, only the pitcher is bolded, not their record, and there is no need for a line break.DetroitFan7 (talk) 09:52, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@DetroitFan7: Interesting...I didn't know that you had interactions with someone from this IP address before. I am a renter at this location so you must've had these interactions with the owner's family. Anyway, I did not realize that there was a format correlation between college softball pages and MLB pages. There should be a way to let people know that so that they don't fall in the same hole as I did. And those attendance numbers that you removed were valid. I found them on the UCLA [Notes] that were produced before the Oregon State series (page 9). 23.119.246.58 (talk) 22:45, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
