Cadmium as cofactor

I've indicated that this statement needs a reference. To my knowledge Cd is not involved in enzyme catalysis, but can replace Zn due to its similar size. Please verify this. Silasmellor (talk) 15:27, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
