Deletion warning?

[edit]

Why are you trying to delete my new page for ASAP.COM? It's a new name for a company and all the wording is reference with citations. There is no promotion in this, it's all from citations from media. Ddrelations (talk) 19:45, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ddrelations This page reads like an advertisement. Wikipedia is not a website for writing about a product or service in a way that promotes the topic. Please see WP:NOTAD. In addition to that, this page contains material that easily fits inside the article Waitr, as ASAP is just a rebranding of Waitr. Please read WP:CFORK on this matter. Also, other editors have raised concerns on your user talk page that you may have a conflict of interest. Please read each of those messages on your talk page and respond to each. As the messages said, do not edit any further until you respond to the messages. Otherwise, you could be blocked from editing. Thank you, CollectiveSolidarity (talk) 20:26, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
first, i don't know how is sounds like an advertisement when the sentences come directly from the press? These are not my words, but the mainstream media. Also, regarding my conflict of interest, how do i resolve that? Ddrelations (talk) 22:13, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Ddrelations The words should not be copied directly from the press per WP:COPYPASTE because doing so is a potential copyright violation. You can write the article in your own words, but avoid close paraphrasing with superficial changes to the sourced material. Another thing is that all the text must be written in a neutral point of view, where the facts are presented but the wording of the text is neutral, which means that although the mainstream media presents the subject in a positive light, the article should just give basic facts without promotional content.
But the first thing you should before editing any more is to respond to the messages on your User Talk page and resolve your conflict of interest. Once you resolve that, I suggest you go to the Teahouse, a forum where more experienced users can answer questions in regards to editing the site and creating articles.
