Agreed. Since the term Femtocell is now the common usage, the page has been moved and a redirect established, with a suitable change in the first paragraph text reflecting the original naming scheme.

A significant question

Currently, FEMTOCELL redirects to here.

The usual term is FEMTOCELL, and that is the recommended name used by industry (Standards body & FEMTO FORUM).

As such, I would suggest we copy content to [FEMTOCELL] page, and have this page redirect there.

That is not a change in content, but it would align the headings with industru usage.

Comments?

I have REVERTED the last change - it added stuff into the Emergency services section which looked as though it was a copy from WiKi editorial policy: are free to edit without logging in, your IP address will be recorded publicly, along with the time and date, in this page's edit history. It is sometimes possible for others to identify you with this information. Creating an account will conceal your IP address and provide you with many other benefits. Messages sent to your IP I assume it was added in error? Certainly not relevant to femtocells

I can't find a definition of "SGN" - is this a typo for "GSN", specifically an SGSN?

Why is the link to ACTIX? It does not appear they have any specifioc relations hip to femtocells?

The term GSN is sometimes used for a combined SGSN and GGSN combination = GPRS Support Node. In a UMA network configuration, the femtocell/Access Point Basestation would not include those functions nor those of the RNC - this is the most commonly promoted architecture.

I would also agree the link to ACTIX is irrelevent. There are many other more prominent radio planning businesses, and there is nothing specific for radio planning of access points there.
