Counterargument

[edit]

I added a section for this but there is really no information. For it to be unbiased, there should be something else here from a good source. If anyone wants to elaborate, that would be great. Cleanelephant (talk) 20:52, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think that this section kinda misses the point. Of course we can see things we don't know, but that's not what this theory is about. Please prove me wrong by linking an article which makes similar arguments. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:8388:1200:B280:60CD:BD58:9EEF:95E3 (talk) 10:51, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

How is this different from Active Inference?

[edit]

I'm not sure. Bodysurfinyon (talk) 13:33, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Active perception is the process of taking actions in the enviroment which increase the understanding of the environment. It has a specific usage in robotics where a robot moves a sensor around (such as a camera or gas sensor) to understand, for example, where a gas leak is coming from or where concentrations of algae in a lake are. I don't think this article really addresses these use cases well. 207.151.223.182 (talk) 16:50, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
