Notability

@Jfire, I’m not saying you are wrong, I agree that individual species are important, but please help me understand why does it being its own Species make it “invariably considered notable” enough for its own article? There are four sentences about this species which is all covered in its parent article. WP:PAGEDECIDE does not give a clear cut answer to if this should be a standalone article or not, but it does say that it should be discussed and options weighed. I am fine with keeping the article if that is the consensus, especially if someone can help expand this article. But at this moment I do not agree that it being its own species is enough, but I am happy to hear your opinion and learn why it could be considered enough notability.
