Talk:Agarwal
I propose that this article be retained and the other one be converted into a redirect. I would wait for a week for comments before merging. --Gurubrahma 19:08, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
The two articles have information that are not completely overlapping. Please make sure that information of both articles are not lost. Also, the correct spelling is 'Agrawal' and not others (though used extensively).
It seems obvious that these should be merged, but we should provide some kind of evidence to which spelling is dominant. There are lots of people with both names from a quick google search. The demiurge 22:42, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
Ok, I am a native Hindi speaker, stay in Delhi and belong to this community. Agrawal is written as अग्रवाल in Devnagri script. Hence, correct spelling in roman is 'Agrawal'. I think Gurubrahma should be able to make this out. However, other spellings are also used extensively. -Sandeep Gupta 13:46, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
This article bears no reference to the 'Gupta' (a vast) portion of the 'Agrawal' community. Factually ignored or simply ignored ?
As per the facts are concerned, 'Agarwal' is spelling majorly adopted. http://www.agarwalcommunity.com/gotra.php([1]) Please correct the source page to 'Agarwal', and redirect any other variations like 'Agrawal', etc. to it. 112.196.136.87 (talk)Shiv —Preceding undated comment added 17:45, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
