Talk:Ahmad Raza Khan
There appears to be a lot of stuff about this guy on the internet. Unfortunately, every page seems to do a different variation on his name. I'm not sure what's name and what's title. In part, because I don't speak Arabic or understand Arabic naming conventions. For instance, I've seen one page give his name as "Ash Shah Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Al-Qadiri Fadil al-Bareilly" and another as "Imam e Ahle Sunnat, Maulana Shah Ahmad Raza Khan." I know "Imam" is a title, and I'm guessing "e Ahle Sunnat" means that he was an Ahle Sunnat in addition to being an Imam, but I don't know whether "Maulana Shah" is a title or a name; likewise, I don't know if "Al-Qadiri Fadil al-Bareilly" is part of his name or something like "from Qadiri before he moved to Bareilly". So, I don't know if the article's even got his name right! I just came in from wikipedia:Deadend pages, and while he seems interesting, I can't figure out even something as simple as how to list his name. The Literate Engineer 05:30, 27 August 2005 (UTC)
