  • Hello Saha, I'll be taking up this nomination's review which I will present shortly. I hope my feedback will be of use to you and that I get to learn something new in the process. Tayi Arajakate Talk 05:01, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
ArnabSaha, I've completed the review. The article is close to a good one but there is one major problem in that it is incomplete in a lot of aspects. I'm putting this on hold for the time being in order for them to be resolved There are also some other minor issues which should be easy to solve. Feel free to ask if you have any questions or concerns. Tayi Arajakate Talk 06:00, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

[edit]
  • The article needs some copyediting, there are grammatical mistakes here and there. Some of the references need fixing as well, they are missing authors or have auto-generated titles.
  • Aviation Safety Network is a tertiary source, consider replacing it with secondary sources. The source itself provides citations for its material which could be use instead.
  • The citation for the third line under background states sufficient hours are required only for night.
  • Ranganathan's concerns aren't adequately summarised in the second paragraph. It contains information which isn't present in the citation and doesn't have others which are.
  • The line regarding the airport being a tabletop runway could also be included in the first paragraph instead, the Hindustan Times and The Hindu citation contains information regarding this, it isn't attributed to Ranganathan.
  • The PIL belongs in aftermath and could be expanded upon.
  • The section concerning victims is incomplete. Some of them died later, and there are details surrounding about the victims. Sathe's state funeral should be included in this section as well.
  • Compensation should be merged with victims, the two sections are very small and can be expanded to include a more detailed account of the victims and reporting around them.
  • The article contains no information on the pilots association's response to the accident.
  • The last line under investigation is OR, please remove it and instead consider including concerns raised regarding the investigation itself, many of the citations report on it.

Hi Tayi Arajakate. I have an issue with my PC for the last few weeks. I have ordered a replacement for the faulty component and its expected to reach in few days. Can you kindly extend the Holding Period? I find it very hard to edit in mobile.  Saha ❯❯❯ Stay safe  07:12, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
ArnabSaha, of course. I can extend it till the end of this month if you need time. Tayi Arajakate Talk 07:29, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Tayi Arajakate I have tried to solve the issues. Please check.  Saha ❯❯❯ Stay safe  19:25, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
ArnabSaha, I've gone through the article for a second time and I think most of the issues are fixed. The prose still needs some improvement but otherwise it more or less appears fulfills the good article criteria so I'm going to promote it. Good work on it and congratulations on the successful GAN!
