The result of the move request was not moved. There is no consensus that this is the most known use of the the name "al-Tall". Aervanath (talk) 17:14, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Al-Tall (Syria) → Al-Tall — Al-Tall (Syria) → Al-Tall — I tried to move it myself but it didn't work — Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 20:42, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- There is also page Al-Tall, Acre for an abandoned Arab village in northern Israel. Arabic "al-Tall" and "at-Tall" and "et-Tell" and similar means "The Mound" and there are likely many places with that name. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 21:32, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- "Al-Tall" in Palestine is a former village that is depopulated and doesn't exist today, the only other "Al-Tall" is the one in Syria. Therefore it should be enough to name the Syrian town "Al-Tall" without "(Syria)" --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 21:36, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- I have noticed a problem, if you click on the "al-Tall" in the template at the bottom here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Tall_(Syria), you will be automatically redirected to the depopulated Palestinian village, the only way to fix this is to rename this article just "Al-Tall" --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 22:56, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- No it's not. That has been already fixed here. Jafeluv (talk) 06:39, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Oppose The other village exists, it's just depopulated (at present), and if anything had the more complete article to assert its importance. There's no problem with the template, but even if there were it would be an easy fix (just edit the template). Aubergine (talk) 17:52, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
