"Fairly"?[edit]

a fairly specific shade of red. - I don't know enough to say for sure, but it seems that we would want to remove the adjective "fairly". KConWiki (talk) 04:50, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Agreed. I doubt there is anything particularly "specific" about it as well. In a technical sense it would be more appropriate to say it's simply "a red hue", so I'm making that edit. Autumnalmonk (talk) 11:34, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
Nolo contendere; I have no experitise in the area of color names. From the usage examples cited in the article, it seems indeed a somewhat vague term (like all color names, actually). --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 11:47, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
