As we recently saw at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Thistle (color) and similar recent AfD's, many of these color stubs aren't notable enough to have their own articles, and should instead be redirected/merged into larger articles with lists of these colors. I propose redirecting this into Lavender_(color)#Amethyst. That section already contains almost all of the content here- with the exception of the unsourced speculation as to the source of the color in the stone amethyst, which I'd say belongs more in the article about the stone itself.--Slon02 (talk) 01:07, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have no objection whatsoever if you want to redirect/merge this color into Lavender (color). As you mentioned, the speculation as to the source of the color in the stone amethyst can go into the article about the stone itself. Keraunos (talk) 23:51, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
