Contested deletion

Despite what has been claimed, it is controversial. Nay, it's wrong. The correct name in all sources I have located (in French and English guide books and maps) is Empúries. Ampurias is nowhere to be found despite the proposer editing the Empúries page with the statement "use most common English-language name, "Ampurias". See talk page for past discussion". There is no such discussion on the talk page, just a rant made three years ago which attracted no comments. Emeraude (talk) 15:13, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
