Poppycock analysis

[edit]

I'm not going to change the page because it's too much of a hassle really but it is obvious to me that the writer of the analysis had no clue as to what the story really concerned. It is a story that mocks our concepts of superiority and more importantly, civilization. It even says throughout the story how we are simply products of an evironment in which we express ideas that have been programmed into us through grooming.GETTA GET (talk) 19:16, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I really do agree with you. When making Wikipedia pages on literary texts one should altogether refrain from analysis and limit him/herself to place the story in context. When, where and by whom it was writen should be the standard, with possible further references to film and/or TV versions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.95.186.95 (talk) 14:53, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
