Reviewer: Adam Cuerden (talk · contribs) 21:17, 22 February 2014 (UTC) This article looks quite good. Lots of contradictory sources, but that's somewhat to be expected for this period. A few bits could be looked at:
- Childhood: After listing and giving two contradicting claims about his parentage, it goes on to say 'The Illuminated Chronicle and other medieval sources write of Vazul's relationship with "some girl" from the Tátony clan who bore his sons, who thus "were not born of a true marriage-bed"' - is this the conclusion, or consistent with all the sources giving Vazul as Andrew's father? If not, it would be wise to begin it with "Of the sources that list Vazul as Andrew's father..."
- Thanks. Modified. Borsoka (talk) 04:22, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
- In exile: 'According to medieval chronicles, Vazul was blinded during the reign of his cousin, King Stephen I – who was the first Christian monarch of Hungary (r. 997–1038) – after the death, in 1031, of Emeric, the king's only son surviving infancy' - this has enough subordinate clauses and interruptions that it's hard to follow. Can this be simplified a bit?
- Thanks. Modified. Borsoka (talk) 04:28, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
- In exile: There's a [citation needed] tag here; that must be fixed before this can be promoted.
- Thanks. Reference added. Borsoka (talk) 03:13, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
- In exile: While mythical, it might be good to give a full summary of the wanderings, clearly labelling it as mythical. I don't think the lack of this blocks GA, though.
- Thanks. The quotation from the Illuminated Chronicle at the end of the subtitle narrates the full story. Borsoka (talk) 03:13, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
- Wars with the Holy Roman Emporer: 'Next summer, the emperor returned to Hungary and laid siege to Pressburg (Bratislava, Slovakia).[28] Zotmund, "a most skilful swimmer"[40] scuttled the emperor's ships' - Who is Zotmund? something like "A X named Zotmund" would help.
- We only know of him that he was a most skilful swimmer who scuttled the emperor's ships. Borsoka (talk) 03:13, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
This gets us up to Succession and death, I'll pick up from here later tonight. Adam Cuerden (talk) 21:17, 22 February 2014 (UTC)

- Dear Adam Cuerden, thank you for your review. I need a couple of days to comment it and fix the problems. Borsoka (talk) 04:21, 24 February 2014 (UTC)
There are 8 HarvErrors in the references: in footnotes 13, 14, 29, 39, 45, 47, and 54, and in the Bartl et al. entry in the bibliography. Madalibi (talk) 07:06, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
One last thing, and then I will promote this. I apologise this took so long. Have the HarvErrors been fixed? Also, in "Succession crisis and death", the sentence "Andrew suffered a stroke which paralyzed him." needs a year. Adam Cuerden (talk) 03:26, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Adam! The HarvErrors are still there. To see them yourself, you can install this useful script. Madalibi (talk) 03:31, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you. The Manteuffel one is particularly bad, because it doesn't have any obvious source to link to; fixing that is absiolutely necessary for GA; the rest is relatively trivially fixed.
- Thanks. The source added. Borsoka (talk) 03:57, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- Right. I'll fix the other HarvRefs (or try to). Can you get the year of Andrew's stroke? Adam Cuerden (talk) 04:34, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- No. The year is not specified, but it must have had happened before his son's coronation in the autumn of 1057. Borsoka (talk) 04:42, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- Is Engel 2011 a typo for Engel 2001, or is it a different source? Adam Cuerden (talk) 04:36, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- Yes. Fixed. Borsoka (talk) 04:42, 10 March 2014 (UTC)

- Right. And I got Bartl. Pity about dating the stroke, but, eh.... not that important. Promoted Adam Cuerden (talk) 04:51, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
