- No explanation given here as to what "Raw Meat" actually is ... I'm not sure myself - can't find any information when googling it. The only reference to "Raw Meat" on Wikipedia is an old 70's horror movie. Perhaps an extra bit of text just clarifying this. e.g. if "Raw Meat" is a show on MTV2, just add after "Raw Meat", "a TV show on MTV2" or something.
- Also, is the word "profound", as in Zane Lowe's "profound absence" the word we are looking for here? Should it be "prolonged" maybe?
- I think it's vandalism, so I've deleted it. Stu ’Bout ye! 16:43, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Hello there. "Raw Meat" is a section of Zane Lowe's show (on a Monday, I think) when songs by three new bands are played and people in the radio 1 chat room vote for their favourite. Obviously this is totally irrelevant now (and was pretty irrelevant when it was mentioned on Annie Mac's site) but I thought I'd mention it in case not knowing was eating away at you both... MacManus or Macmanus ?
This has been bugging me for ages - not with Annie but her brother ('s band) whom I've run a fan website for for years, and never got to the bottom of it. I know both of them write their surname as Macmanus (annie on facebook, davey anywhere) but I think the latter is just lazy when it comes to spelling :oP and one name on facebook proves nothing to me... In print I've seen both, but the more official stuff I've seen for the two generally says MacManus. A quick google (and wikipedia) seach for "macmanus" also suggests MacManus is the more common spelling. Also, McManus seems to be more commonly spelled as such, rather than Mcmanus. Anyone know the truth? Or are both acceptable? Or am I just wasting more wiki space? I think so... --Pepsi max2k (talk) 21:50, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- I believe the proper spelling is MacManus, but obviously the Macmanus family chooses to spell it Macmanus so let it be. Matthew Gibbons (talk) 21:28, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
