Anoka in Nigeria
[edit]In Nigeria Anoka is a surname. It used in the Igbo tribe in the souhern part of Nigeria. It is the shortened form of this name that has passed on thru generations - Anoka. The full name is Anokamwuonyegerenti. Theat means he that stayed long did so because he listened.
I will like to state that that was my maiden name before i got married.
