Talk:Antoine Joseph Wiertz
Appearance
Antoine Wiertz is the son of the other one. Not a good idea to merge.
- Not true. Both articles are clearly about the same person. Karl Stas 17:04, 16 September 2005 (UTC)
Oups, you are right. Gelijk heb je. Reacted to soon. Ben hier nieuw. I guess the articles have to be merged. I suggest you take over the bibliography from Antoine Wiertz ? How is that article going to be deleted ? --JohanB 20:55, 16 September 2005 (UTC)
- No need to delete anything, we can create a redirect page. Normally I check if an article already exists before writing a new one, but this time I seem to have forgotten! The bibliographic references seem very old, not sure if they still have any value. The second one seems to refer to the catalogue of an exposition held in Dinant in 1980, but no publisher is mentioned? I think the best reference today is the catalogue of the exposition Romantiek in België held in Brussels this year. - Karl Stas 21:09, 16 September 2005 (UTC)
Again you are right on the Dinant case. I forgot to mention Dinant, but I my references, I didn't found the name of any publisher.--JohanB 21:43, 16 September 2005 (UTC)
- Added references and modified the last paragraph a bit (I liked the term "art pompier"!). I think we can replace the smaller article by a redirect now. Or rather, move the big article to Antoine Wiertz and make Antoine Joseph Wiertz a redirect instead. Karl Stas 21:51, 16 September 2005 (UTC)
