Only a Turkish unit of length?
[edit]The German, French, Italian, Polish and Russian Wiki refer to an Russian unit.
While the Turkish and Tatar Wiki refer to it as a turkish unit.
And I have no clue what the Persian and Azerbaijani Wiki are saying.
I am a nativ German speaker and we have a second and a third page for all three units in the German wiki:
Arschin (аршин) for the Russian unit: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arschin
Arşın for the Turkish unit: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ar%C5%9F%C4%B1n
Arschine for the Persian unit: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arschine
Could it be that we have confused two or maybe three different units with the same name here?
Either all the links between the different wikis should be redone with seperent pages for each unit or we need to make this page a universal one for all three units.
- German article about "persian unit" is nonsense. --Altenmann >talk 03:53, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
