Bexar County, Texas

The county, which contains the giant city San Antonio, was named ultimately after the Duke of Bejar. "Bexar" is an archaic spelling of Bejar, byut is pronounced just the same.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Pbrower2a (talkcontribs)
