Father of the Kurds?

[edit]

Who calls Mustafa Barzani father of the kurds?? I have never heard this before and to say it is just ridiculous, in what way is he father of the Kurds?! This just seems to be an attempt to look like Mustafa Kemal in turkey, who called himself Ataturk, father of the Turks!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.65.146.107 (talkcontribs) 22:10, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it is not accurate. it was written by an anon user.
Not only this but whole of this article is useless. Bahdini is a local conversational variation of Kurmanji and it is better to be merged with Kurmanji article. Wirya 22:31, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actually Bahdini is the historic name for the whole of the north Kurmanji dialect, as they were muslims they were the Bahdinan(better religion i.e. muslims) in contrast to the non-muslim Yazdani(note not Yezidi, as Yezidism is a branch of Yazdanism) Pahlawani speaking Kurds. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.65.146.107 (talkcontribs) 19:50, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
