Reason for tag

The "End" section seems questionable, not in the least because it accuses Roger Taney of being a "yes man" without any cites! 68.39.174.238 06:05, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Rewrite

I'm going to go through this article section by section and rewrite it. It had multiple issues, including a lack of sources and lack of a Neutral Point of View. It's also inconsistent with other articles about Jackson and Biddle, as well as the various economic depressions it refers to. If anybody has an issue, please let me know on my talk page.
