Movement Habits

[edit]

I remember that a difference between Skates and Rays is that one of the two oscillate their fins, while the other flaps them. Does anyone have any answers? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.104.128.104 (talk) 23:23, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Monsters

[edit]

These things are monsters that needed to be dealt with! Just look at recent developments: One of these things jumped into a boat and killed a passenger! And then think of the poor famus guy! These things are killer! Kill them before they kill you. ++++ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.129.169.168 (talkcontribs) 05:18, 20 October 2006

You opinionated thing! Animals just try to defend themselves to survive! YOU are the monster, not them! Dora Nichov 09:42, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How could you think that! Sting rays are completly harmless if you know how to deal with them! I and many others have always wanted to swim with stingrays. If you stay away from the scarce bit of harmful rays, you'll be fine! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.166.186.252 (talk) 01:03, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

the barb

[edit]

i was curious, once stingray defends itself by using the bar to 'sting' someone, what happens to barb? does it breaks off, and regrowns or what?
