Category:Battles involving the Lombards[edit]

I’m removing the article from Category:Battles involving the Lombards on the basis that readers will expect it to cover battles involving the Lombards (or Langobards), rather than battles involving adherents to the Lombard League—or indeed battles involving Lombardy or Lombards in the sense of category:People from Lombardy. On the other hand I think it probably would be useful to have a Category:Battles involving the Lombard League and have accordingly red-linked it in the article. OK, as there are no objections I’ll remove the category Category:Battles involving the Lombards, which clearly should relate to ‘Lombards’, as defined in the article Lombards. (Otherwise confusion reigns….) —Ian Spackman 10:11, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
