I will add some sources for this page and expand on the description, but I think there is plenty of context provided by the links to light frame construction and woodworking joint. Its a simple joint, there is not a lot of variations or choices, so it will not be a long article, but for someone looking for what the heck a birdsmouth joint is (like I was) it should fit the bill. this is wrong info a birds mouth is a reverse cut of the crows foot. A birds mouth is on the interior of the wall. 184.61.71.123 (talk) 17:32, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
