Broadcast Machine[edit]

According to the product website, Blog Torrent is replaced by Broadcast Machine. -- Terry J. Gardner 20:32, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Some source material for the article[edit]

An early source coverage is Los Angles Times December 20, 2004: "Downhill Battle, a Worcester, Mass.-based independent music group that has developed its own BitTorrent-based software called Blog Torrent, says the technology is much more than a tool for swapping copyrighted movies and software." Just before that was some decent coverage: InfoWorld Daily December 10, 2004. That was followed by a mention in Associatged Press June 28, 2005. After that the blog "Torrent Freak" came out,[1] but that appears to be a different topic from Blog Torrent. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 14:03, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

Merge with DownHill Battle page[edit]

It was a project of Downhill Battle, so I think it makes sense to merge the contents of this page into their page, the same way the Broadcast Machine is included in the page of the Participatory Culture Foundation. Very little information seems to be available about Blog Torrent, and it wasn't particularly notable, even at the time. I remember following Downhill Battle with some interest, and I remember the PCF replacing it, but I don't remember anything about Blog Torrent. Danylstrype (talk) 14:06, 5 April 2017 (UTC)
