TSE figures[edit]

Extremely disappointed to see clearly incorrect figures reinserted to the article multiple times. The numbers in the TSE source obviously contain an error as they do not add up correctly (the sum of yes/no/invalid/blank is 12,286,175, not 12,286,355 as was being forced into the article). The "unknown reason" for the results table displaying 12,286,175 was simple mathematics.

To try and stop this, I have changed the source for the results table to one that is internally consistent (i.e. it adds up correctly), and is a secondary source, which (per WP:PST) is preferable to the TSE (a primary source). Number 57 23:30, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The specific source of the error is the TSE total figure for Guanabara, which they have as 1,047,539, 180 more than the actual total of 1,047,359 (227,077 + 768,143 + 11,462 + 40,677). This is obviously a transposition error.
The original TSE results in the Boletim eleitoral (page 4) show the correct total for Guanabara of 1,047,359 and an overall total of 12,286,175. Number 57 23:46, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
