Burgus vs Blockhouse
[edit]Has the literature compared these structures to Blockhouses or another modern structure in terms of use case? That would deserve a mention, and then I wonder if there is a specific term for technologies/practices which were discontinued after a civilization collapsed, only to be resumed by descendant cultures.
