I'm throwing a notability flag on this one. Sure, Asimov was a great writer, but that doesn't make everything that he ever wrote notable. "Buy Jupiter" is a collection of previously published, but not previously anthologized, short stories, and the author acknowledged that in some cases there might be a very good reason for that!

Similarly, the stubs that someone have created for each of the stories question notability as well. There's almost nothing to say about most of them, aside from the plot synopsis. For them to be notable, I would like to see some sort of explanation of their historical or literary importance.

I agree that this collection often isn't Asimov at his best, but I think the collection as a whole is notable even if not all the stories are. PatGallacher (talk) 19:28, 29 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The quality of the stories has no bearing on notability, and is largely subjective anyway. The fact that they had been published before is also irrelevant. There don't need to be individual articles on every story though. Richard75 (talk) 12:37, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Candidate for merger?[edit]

Does each story really justify its own page? Unless they won a Hugo or such like, they really don't seem notable. Nickpheas (talk) 16:19, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
