Temperature and climate?[edit]

I found this article confusing an request some explanation to be added. The estimated temperature for this planet is very high, but it is extremely distant from its dim, cool star. How is this possible? Where is this above-boiling heat coming from? This temperature is probably estimated from the planet's spectral type, which is T9.
Also, if the planet had an extremely low temperature, it would not emit any radiation, and therefore could not be detected. InTheAstronomy32 (talk) 23:05, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
